Es fand im IBG wieder das Vienna´s English Theatre statt.

Since there were no live performances possible due to Covid-19 last year, the 6^th and 8^th graders were desperately looking forward to finally seeing the plays Unacceptable and On the brink performed by Vienna´s English Theatre in our Festsaal in November 2022. Students from other high schools in Klagenfurt joined us as well. Both plays dealt with topics prevalent in society today. On the one hand, mental health issues among youths, the main theme of “Unacceptable”, have been increasing steadily over the past few years. On the other hand, the debate concerning the correct form of political action to raise awareness about the climate crisis and thus hold the people in power accountable as presented in On the brink could not be more up-to-date these days. Big thanks to the great actors and their amazing performances!
